Open Class

The Academy Open Class is pleased to announce their 2008 programme, 'The Processional'. Based on music by Michael Nyman, this show promises well crafted programming and unique movement styles.

The Academy are excited to welcome back, for their second year, KC Michel (Visual and Weapons) and Damon Padilla (Equipment) who will be joined by Jamey Thompson (Visual) for his first year with the academy.
Jamey has been the visual designer for Phantom Regiment for the last three years along with many WGI Percussion units. We are also very excited to welcome back Rick Subel (Equipment) who after a 2yr break will be back for his 6th year of designing for this team.

Along with their American staff we will be also welcoming back Darren Darton (Equipment), Ken Mansfield (Visual) Aoife O'Keeffe (Movement) and Lisa Darton (Movement) on our design team as well as Lorraine Gray and Peter Lippiatt as technicians.

The design team is very excited about working together again for a second year and is hoping to carry on building this unit from their development in the previous season. We look forward to seeing you at the first show and hope you enjoy 'The Processional'.
